She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration specialising in Emotional Intelligence and Leadership, with advanced executive training in strategic leadership, ethics and corporate governance from Marquette University (USA), ESAMI, Loughborough University (UK) and the Kenya School of Government.
A passionate educator, mentor and advocate for character development, Dr. Gitonga founded the Integrity Club and Integrity Movement in Kenyan learning institutions. She received the Pan-African CEO Global Award for the Most Influential Women in 2018. Her work is driven by her “KAI” philosophy — Knowledge, Attitude and Integrity.
